What about equity?
While private schools in the DC area have utilized outdoor learning from the start, it's been less available to our most "at-risk" public school students who already suffer from inequitable access to outdoor space in our city. Our mission is to change that- not just for the pandemic- but forever. That's why we began this movement with a highly successful pilot in Ward 8's Oxon Run Park. Ward 8 families have embraced the opportunity!
